فرمانده لشکر ابن زیاد بود که به توابینی که به تقاص خون حسین برخواسته بودند هم رحم نکرد.
جنگ، جنگ، جنگ، تمام عمر حصین ابن‌نمیر به جنگ با حق گذشت.
صفین، کربلا، عین الورده، و در آخر جنگ با مختار، او را به آتش ابدی آش کشاند.
